So today was my first midterm in Constitutional Law.
(Or at least it was supposed to be. Ah, that moment when your Prof. says, "oops... technical difficulties.")


I woke up early. Took my time getting ready and making sure everything was 100% in place. I got to school 15 minutes before the bookstore even opened, but I was really nervous and tired.

What did I do?

I treated myself to a White Angel; a delicious latte with white coffee I only get on special occasions. I figured since I had trouble figuring out how to eat more calories yesterday, I could get away with it. If I had stuck with a 12oz, like I usually get, I probably would have been fine, but I decided 4oz more probably wouldn't matter.

It did. 

Then to top it all off, my Papa started having complications, small ones, but with his life nearing the end here, my Grandma freaks out about every little thing. To be fair to her, I was really worried too because I didn't have the medical knowledge to look at it and go, "Hmm... nothing to worry about right now." This is why nurses exist. It's not anything unexpected, but it still makes her angry.

Guess who deals with all that?

Then I went and dropped $40 on three games and somehow ended up devouring a 170 calorie ice cream sandwich. I don't even know how it happened! One moment, I was calmly instructing my grandmother on what she could do to make everything a little better while we waited for a call back from our nurse. The next, I was finishing up the last bite of ice cream and thanking the nurse for his advice, right before I hung up.

The only good thing about today, is that I don't work again till Tuesday. BOOYAKA!

It will be a four day long weekend spent here at home with Papa, but maybe I can cook some healthy meals for the family or something. And go for a jog. I should probably start figuring out how to like doing that again.

Let's go Renegade by running around, waving our hands above our heads, pretending no one is looking at us like we're crazy.
